The Associate Park Maintenance Technician is the entry-level classification in the series. Initially in a training capacity, the incumbents receive training and skills related to park maintenance and commonly used tools and equipment. Incumbents will perform increasingly difficult maintenance work as experience and knowledge is gained in particular work areas.
