Sunday, June 8, 1:15-2:45 PM: Alviso Slough Tour

Come aboard the Slough Schooner to explore Alviso Slough’s unique salt marsh habitat where the Guadalupe River flows into the Bay. Discover how people have shaped and protected these coastal wetlands over time. Due to the nature of this outing only ages 8-12 allowed (1 child/1adult per family).

Saturday, June 14, 10-11 AM: 10 essentials for hiking

Join us for an introduction to basic first aid and learn about the 10 essentials to pack to stay safe while hiking. 

Saturday, July 12, 10-11 AM: Chitactac-Adams Heritage County Park

Join us as we play traditional games, view the ancient petroglyphs, and discover what has made Chitactac-Adams Heritage County Park such a special place to Indigenous people for thousands of years.

 

Saturday, July 26, 6-7 PM: Evening hike

Join us for a Junior Ranger evening hike to learn more about nocturnal animals and their adaptations for surviving at night.

Thursday, July 31, 10-11 AM: Evidence of wildlife

Junior Rangers will explore the Mockingbird Trail looking for evidence of wildlife while discovering how they survive as well as protect themselves in a special habitat.
