Come celebrate the Year of the Snake at Casa Grande and learn about the historic influences China had on New Almaden’s quicksilver mines by doing crafts, viewing demonstrations, & listening to historians. While enjoying festivities you'll also discover the significance of New Almaden’s mercury mining to the California Gold Rush.
