The Specialty Parks program is just like what its called, its special. Santa Clara County Parks houses some unique and rare parks that provide opportunities not found in other parks throughout the region. The program consists of not only staff that report directly to our Program Manager but also works collaboratively and closely with other department programs like Park Ranger Operations and Park Maintenance Services to name a couple.

Some of our rare parks include:

Field Sports Park, where you will meet our expert Parks Rangemasters and have the opportunity to use our well maintained and safe shooting ranges and trap and skeet fields.
Martial Cottle Park, our most recent agricultural park that has many community partners and educational programs offered to the public as well as the historical Cottle House and barn.
Metcalf Motorcycle Park, where our knowledgeable and trained Park Rangers specialize in off road trail use and motocross special events.
