Corporate and community group volunteer opportunities

The Santa Clara County Parks Volunteer Program is happy to accommodate group volunteering requests for corporate groups, community organizations, and others. Events are usually 2‐4 hours in duration. Existing volunteer opportunities are based on site-specific needs and can be found via the Upcoming Volunteer Events link below.

If you have a particular project or event in mind that does not align to one of the opportunities currently available, you can Propose a Project for review. Please include important information such as the scope of the work (difficulty level, type of work, and duration of service), how many volunteers would be attending, and any scheduling requirements. Providing as many details as possible will expedite the process of review and approval. 
 
Group volunteering requests require significant planning and coordination with field staff. Therefore, they will be reviewed and processed on the timetable listed below. If submitted outside of the application period, accommodation will most likely not be possible.

Please note we can only accommodate requests for weekday group volunteering events January-April and August-October. If in search of volunteer opportunities other months, consider joining one of our already scheduled public volunteer events - link below.

The County of Santa Clara gratefully accepts and values charitable donations from our park partners, however, under most circumstances the County does not permit placement of permanent plaques or monuments. Check the Donation Program Page for more information.
