The Remarkable Story of Martial Cottle Park

Have you ever wondered how a family saved almost 300 acres of agricultural land for us and future generations to enjoy?

Hear about the journey of the Cottles from England to America in 1650, Cottle descendants’ trek 200 years later from Missouri to the Santa Clara Valley in the “Gold Rush era” of the 1850s, and the formation of Martial Cottle Park in 2015.

Recommended for ages 5 and up. No registration necessary, just stop by.
This program will take place at the Visitor Center by the Snell Ave entrance.

This program will be held twice, once on July 5 and once on July 12. Content will be the same on each of the two dates.
