Virtual Junior Rangers
Registration for this summer's Virtual Junior Rangers sessions are open!
All County youth ages 7-12 are invited to join park staff via Zoom for Virtual Junior Rangers. A series of six 40-minute Junior Ranger sessions takes place on weekdays.
Participants can join individually from their own homes or as a group through after-school programs and clubs. All that’s needed is access to a screen and reliable internet connection. All sessions take place in real time with special guest speakers presenting from a different park location each session. The virtual programs are highly interactive with plenty of opportunities to engage with presenters.
Participants who complete three or more virtual sessions will earn a Junior Ranger badge!
After the six weekday virtual sessions, participants are invited to gather in person for the Junior Ranger Family Day celebration. The event features a variety of hands-on activities, and a chance to meet park staff who hosted and presented the virtual sessions. The event concludes with a special ceremony in which Junior Rangers will receive their badges and certificates.*
*If participants attend at least three virtual sessions but cannot attend in person Junior Ranger Family Day, staff will mail their badge and certificate to them.

All Junior Ranger activities are free, but parking fees may apply. To ensure safety, a parent or guardian must participate in Junior Ranger Family Day with anyone under 18 years old. Adult supervision is highly recommended during all virtual programs.
