Monthly house tours
Join park staff for an hour-and-a-half tour of the historic ranch house and surrounding grounds where Joseph D. Grant and his family lived. Experience and learn how this pioneer family played an important role in shaping California's politics, industry, and land preservation.
This program is typically offered on the first Saturday of each month from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Check the Parks calendar for dates. Meet outside of the Grant Ranch House.
Seasonal events
Celebrate the holidays and the change of seasons with special programs and events at the historic ranch house. In March/April, join us for the Old Fashioned Easter Celebration, which includes crafts, an egg hunt, and an Easter bunny visit. In December, you can join us for the Holiday Ranch House Tours, which includes crafts, hot drinks, and a chance to tour the historic house decorated for the holidays.

Halls Valley History Hike (Coming soon)
Join a Park Interpreter for a 4-mile scenic hike through Joseph D. Grant County Park to see how people have used and enjoyed this landscape throughout history.
